Cotton Recycling System

Efficiently recovery of high-value cotton fibers from spinning mill waste.

Our Cotton Waste Recycling System is a fully integrated processing line designed to recover reusable cotton fibers from spinning mill waste. The system integrates multiple cotton recycling machines—including automatic feeding, material buffering, fiber opening, multi-stage cleaning, and baling—into a coordinated workflow to ensure smooth operation and consistent output quality.

By processing short-fiber waste such as blowroom waste and cutting scraps into secondary raw materials rather than discarding them, spinning mills can increase raw cotton utilization and reduce unnecessary waste generated during production.

Recycling Process

The cotton recycling system sequentially integrates multiple cotton recycling machines to maintain a steady material flow, effectively remove impurities, and deliver consistent quality recycled fibers throughout the process.
01

Feeding (LB-203)

Cotton waste enters the system through the LB-203 Fiber Feeder, which regulates material flow and feeds it evenly to the next stage. In semi-automated setups, operators manually load waste into the feeder; in higher automation configurations, material is continuously supplied by upstream equipment.
02

Intermediate Buffering (RB)

Before fiber opening, material is directed into a reserve box (RB). This intermediate storage temporarily holds cotton waste to absorb feeding surges and stabilize system operation, enabling the opening stage to run under consistent conditions.
03

Preliminary Opening (LB-208)

After buffering, cotton waste enters the LB-208 Fiber Opener, where specialized clothing gently loosens compact fibers while a dust blade removes released loose impurities. This initial opening reduces fiber tufts, preparing the material for more effective cleaning in subsequent stages.
04

Multi-Stage Cleaning (LB-601)

Fibers then pass through the LB-601 Seven-Section Cleaner for progressive separation and cleaning. Spiral beaters further open remaining fiber tufts and dislodge adhering trash. Separated waste is conveyed away by a screw rod to prevent re-mixing, while internal screens filter trash hulls and fine dust to enhance fiber cleanliness and consistency.
05

Pre-Baling Storage (SB)

Cleaned fibers are collected in a storage box (SB). Acting as a buffer prior to baling, this storage stage smooths out short-term production fluctuations, helping the system maintain continuous and steady operation.
06

Baling (LB-502C / LB-502D)

Finally, processed fibers are compressed into dense, stackable bales by the LB-502C Trash Baler or the LB-502D Baling Press (for higher production requirements). The resulting recycled cotton bales feature neat shapes and easy handling for storage, transport, or downstream processing.
07

Central Dust Collection (LB-701)

The LB-701 Central Dust Collection System continuously extracts airborne fibers and dust, maintaining a clean operating environment.

FAQs

How does the system manage dust when processing waste cotton?

Dust control runs through the line in stages. The LB-208 preliminary opener includes an integrated dust-removal blade that clears loose dust as it opens the fibers. The LB-601 seven-section cleaner then filters cotton husk dust and trash through its internal screens. Finally, the LB-701 central dust collection system continuously extracts airborne fibers and dust to keep the work area clean.

Does processing tightly compacted blowroom waste and spinning mill scraps damage the fibers or the equipment?

The system opens material gradually to avoid this. Compacted cotton waste first passes through the LB-208 fiber opener, where specialized card clothing loosens tangled fibers gently, preserving fiber length before the material moves into the LB-601 multi-stage cleaning section.
